Who am I kidding?


I hate the ruffles.  They're coming off.  Now.

  4. I'll take a bob each way on ruffles. I made a ruffled blouse which I love. I've just finished a jacket that I can't stand.

  5. I agree with removing the ruffles. Ruffles are not bad, but the fabric may not have enough drape for this application and the print does not seem to be ruffle friendly.

  9. The ruffles on a plain top would have been fine, but I agree with you in removing them. The horizontal lines on the fabric don't need any competition from vertical lines on the diagonal ruffles, do they?
    It's often difficult to see the balance of detail until everything is sewn up.
