My Ratana cardigan continues to grow.
The lace sleeves were a giant pain but the ribbing is going quickly in this thick aran-weight yarn.
I have decided to make a slightly shorter cardigan as I like the higher-hip length on me.
If you are curious, the safety pins are an easy way to count rows.
I am almost finished the lower ribbing. The collar and front edges (more 2x2 ribbing) will complete the garment.

ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful, Kay. So glad to see you're enjoying your weeks away from the grind.
ReplyDeleteLooks just great, and a little goth right now. It'll be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely - and I am so glad to see you again. I've missed you!
ReplyDeleteCan you offer suggestions of "must see" fabric and yarn stores in Ottawa? I am coming in for a business trip from Calgary at the end of March and trying to decide if I should plan extra time to indulge my habit. Any suggestions? Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Sadly, Ottawa is hardly a fabric-shopping mecca. There is Darrell Thomas Textiles to the west of downtown, and a yarn store near the market downtown. Otherwise, you have to travel out to the burbs.
