OCD?

The Sewing Lawyer is a tad on the perfectionist side.  She has a seam ripper.  And she's not afraid to use it.

Before.

After.

It's a good thing this wool is very thick and forgiving!

  1. Afraid I would have done the same thing. Can't ever get past that need for the perfect job, though not always successful :).

  2. Only another perfectionist sewist would notice (and don't get me started about RTW!). Beautiful job, Kay!

  4. Just curious, your sleeve still has ease even though the fabric stripes are matching, right?

  7. I think you have to match perfectly for a high-level jacket like this one. OCD, yes, but for a good reason.

  11. OCD? Perhaps, but that attention to detail makes for a fabulously tailored jacket. Beautiful job!!!

  13. Not OCD. It was the right thing to do. That's why seam rippers were invented! Beautiful jacket. And the sweater you are knitting isn't bad either.

  15. I don't think it was OCD to fix it, although it wasn't that glaring a problem. If you don't care about details, what's the point of devoting all the time it takes.

    Lovely jacket.
