The Sewing Lawyer is a tad on the perfectionist side. She has a seam ripper. And she's not afraid to use it.
Before.
After.
It's a good thing this wool is very thick and forgiving!

Afraid I would have done the same thing. Can't ever get past that need for the perfect job, though not always successful :).
ReplyDeleteOnly another perfectionist sewist would notice (and don't get me started about RTW!). Beautiful job, Kay!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours, beautiful work :)
ReplyDeleteJust curious, your sleeve still has ease even though the fabric stripes are matching, right?
ReplyDeleteNot ocd.
ReplyDeleteWould have done the same. Beautiful. But it took me ages to figure it out!
ReplyDeleteNot OCD at all. I call it "normal". :-) Beautiful jacket!
ReplyDeleteI think you have to match perfectly for a high-level jacket like this one. OCD, yes, but for a good reason.
ReplyDeleteThat jacket is absolutely lovely. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteFabulous job, you will be much happier with it.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great jacket. It's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYes, perfect!
ReplyDeleteOCD? Perhaps, but that attention to detail makes for a fabulously tailored jacket. Beautiful job!!!
ReplyDeletePerfect and now the jacket will get worn!
ReplyDeleteNot OCD. It was the right thing to do. That's why seam rippers were invented! Beautiful jacket. And the sweater you are knitting isn't bad either.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Seam rippers (our best friends!)

I don't think it was OCD to fix it, although it wasn't that glaring a problem. If you don't care about details, what's the point of devoting all the time it takes.
ReplyDeleteLovely jacket.
