If I gain some weight, all I have to do is let out the side seams. It fits snugly to the body in the bodice and has plenty of design ease below the waist. It appears almost exactly as your version except the RTW version is fashioned from much heavier fabric.

Another excellent result. I so agree that pattern companies should really re-evaluate their directions, particularly to encourage new sewists to have better results. I now know enough to change the sequence but it took me years to learn to make those changes and improve my results.Jane Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10236298438179825569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140515590936881334.post-43945926940343152752013-11-09T08:56:15.537-05:002013-11-09T08:56:15.537-05:00I love this dress. Even for fitting reasons I like to hold off on the side seams. I wonder if the sewing instructions are better in the patterns produced by the indie pattern companies?Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11994553975406806627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140515590936881334.post-1977778426401622442013-11-08T20:02:16.902-05:002013-11-08T20:02:16.902-05:00Your dress is gorgeous on you.
